Make Your Own Pocket Letter Sleeves

Elina Pocket Letters, Uncategorized

For those of you who don’t already know, I love making pocket letters 🙂

As soon as I discovered ‘happy mail’ concept I was hooked. But for the love of all holy, I couldn’t find those trading card sleeves anywhere!
I’ve searched high and low for them. Nada.

So I decided to make my own. I took my sewing machine and regular A4 Photo sleeves and got to work. It turned out to be very simple and very addictive.
If you ever sewn anything other than fabric, you’ll know that really weird and almost naughty feeling. Plastic sews like butter and you shouldn’t worry this won’t damage your sewing machine.

If you don’t have a sewing machine or you’re not good at sewing a straight line (been there myself). The Fuse Tool will become your new bestie. It’s a wonderful tool that fuses everything plastic.

Just remember it gets extremely hot, so work on a heatproof surface. And if you need to switch up the tip either wait till it gets cold or do it with caution and pliers.

Anyhow. Hope you’ll enjoy this video 🙂
