I just love heat embossing lately. And gold embossing is just the best, don’t you think?
I really love experimenting with my creative stash. And I’m embarrassed to admit that I have more stuff than time to experiment with it.
This project is a combination of the two things that I love: Paris and embossing!
I’ve been to Paris so many times I lost count. That’s a perk of living in Europe, almost every old and famous city is a couple of hours flying distance away!
So Paris… I’ve been there in hot summer, cozy autumn, snowy winter and green spring. And got to say it’s pretty every time. I think in one of my past lives I lived in Paris for sure!
If you have never been to Paris, I would say book a flight whenever you can, grab your suitcase and go!
So back to embossing… I love embossing because for me, it’s like magic and it turns out pretty every time. I feel like a magician every time I emboss.
I also enjoy the process immensely! You have your stamps and watermark ink. Then you add a bit of gold embossing powder and some heat and voila a beautiful image.
For this video I pulled out my ‘Paris’ stamp set and got to work. It turned out to be a really simple layout.
If you think it’s too simple you can always add more embellishments to your pocket letter, but I like how mine turned out!
Hope you’ll enjoy this video, I sure had a lot of fun making it.
